Music Therapy

Music Therapy Services:

• Individual Music Therapy - 45 or 60 minute sessions -this is an opportunity for optimal interaction with the music therapist. Sessions vary from highly structured, with picture or written schedule, to client-led, depending on needs and goals.

• Small-Group Music Therapy - 45 or 60 minute sessions - this is an opportunity to collaborate in music with peers while practicing social skills and working toward individual goals. Participants are grouped by age or maturity level, and include the same participants for a set number of sessions.

All music therapy services include assessment and treatment planning at no additional charge. 

Music therapy usually takes place at West Hills Music Therapy Studio.  Services may be provided in the home for an additional cost.

Open Music Therapy Group:



One Saturday per month, children with autism, along with their families, enjoy a 45 minute group music therapy session in the big room at West Hills Music Therapy Studio.  These are facilitated by myself and Angie Kopshy, MM, MT-BC.   (RSVP to this link)
